Beth Chandler

Beth Chandler is an Oxford, MS native. She grew up taking dance at Deborah Kaye School of Dance under the direction of Debbie Paine, and from Oxford High School in 1998. Her daughter, Ava, started dance at her mom’s alma mater, Deborah Kaye School of Dance, in a mommy and me class at the age of 1 1/2. Beth knew for a fact her daughter was a born dancer as she watched Ava’s love of dance grow over the course of 7 years. In 2020 Mrs. Debbie decided to retire and Beth took ownership of the studio. Although this studio has a new name, Oxford Elite Dance Company, it has ultimately been around for over 40 years. Beth takes pride in the well-trained staff and talented dancers and looks forward to watching the OEDC flourish for many more years!
Sloan Marak
Artistic Director / Choreographer

Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Sloan competed
across the country in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary dance as well as Musical Theater. She trained under the best Central Arkansas has to offer for 16 years, winning many regional and national titles. Sloan began teaching at the young age of 14 and knew that was something she wanted to continue to do. She began with OEDC in 2017 and is looking forward to another amazing year!
Chloe Mayenknecht

Chloe has been dancing for the last 23 years studying ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and pom. She has competed and trained all over the country, giving her a diverse background. She is a 2021 graduate of The University of Mississippi where she is a member of their dance team, the Ole Miss Rebelettes. She is now on the coaching staff with Rebelettes and going into her third year as their assistant coach. Chloe has appeared in several music videos, including Old Dominion’s debut video for “Just Break up with Him” Before returning to Oxford 3 years ago Chloe lived in Vail, Colorado where she choreographed the 2021 Holiday Bowl halftime show. Chloe is super excited for her third year on the OEDC team!
Rhyan Davis
Recreational Director / Instructor

Originally from Hattiesburg, Rhyan Davis has more than 17 years of dance experience and enjoys working with preschoolers the most! Growing up, she performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Joffrey Ballet, the Miss Mississippi pageant, and numerous dance competitions. She’s thrilled to be back in Oxford with her husband, Trey, and son, Maddox. This is Rhyan’s second year at OEDC!
Kayla White
Choreographer

Kayla danced for 16 years at NVS Dance Studio in Collierville, TN and holds national titles in Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary and Jazz. After placing first at nationals with the Collierville Middle School pom & hiphop team, she continued her dancing career as an Ole Miss Rebelette. She held both the Captain and Choreography Team titles and competed in nationals. She is currently the choreographer for the OHS Chargerettes and is looking forward to the BEST year at OEDC!
Ally Hopper

Ally grew up as a competitive dancer and began choreographing at a young age. She always knew she wanted to teach dance after high school. After high school Ally went on to member of the Ole Miss Rebelettes and the dance team captain her senior year. Ally is currently in law school and teaching dance on the side. She is on her fourth year on staff at OEDC. She can't wait to see what the next year brings!
Kai Jeffreys

A Winston-Salem, NC native, Kai has been dancing and competing for over 14 years. Since moving to Oxford in 2019, she has been a member of the Oxford High School Chargerette Dance Team and is an Oxford Elite Dance Company alumni, competing with the studio her last year of high school. Upon graduating, she knew she could not possibly leave behind her love for dance and wanted to continue by way of teaching. Kai is currently a Sophomore majoring in Accounting at the University of Mississippi. This is her third year as an instructor and she is so ecstatic to start this next season at OEDC with these talented young dancers.

Amelia Harvey

Amelia is originally from Louisiana but grew up in Denver, Colorado and has been dancing for 16 years. She has trained vigorously in pom, contemporary, modern, lyrical, ballet, jazz, and improv. She is a 3x Colorado State Champion and 2x National Runner up competing with Cherry Creek High School where she was the captain her senior year. She has been in various music videos and even participated in a project that generated more than 30 million views on youtube! Amelia spent the last 4 years on the Ole Miss Rebelette team securing a national championship while on the team. She has continued to choreograph for various studios/dancers in Colorado, as well! This is Amelia's 2 year on staff and she is super excited to have more time choreographing and teaching at OEDC!​

Abby Church

Abby Church was raised in Mobile, AL. In Mobile, she was the 2019 DYW of Mobile County, danced competitively for 14 years with the Baker High School Dance Team and Debbie’s School of Dance, and taught dance around her community! In college, she was a four year member of the Ole Miss Rebelettes, and was part of the national championship winning team in 2023! Abby was also involved in the Miss Mississippi Competition - serving as Miss University and Miss Midtown. She placed in the top 10 and received the talent award! Currently, she is a first year law student at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Her hobbies include sunset walks on the beach, baking, coffee runs, and dance of course! Dance has been her passion for as long as she can remember, and she is so excited to share that love with the OEDC family!

Natalie Grace Decker

Natalie Grace Decker is from Tega Cay, South Carolina and has been dancing for 18 years. She grew up dancing at Center Stage Dance Academy where she trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and modern and went on to win numerous regional and national titles. She has been teaching since she was 16 and loves helping dancers work on their technique and growing their love for dance. After high school she joined the Ole Miss Rebelettes dance team and is now a 4th year member and senior at Ole Miss. She is so excited to be teaching at OEDC!
Hannah See
Instructor / Choreographer

Originally from Nashville, TN, Hannah has competed in all genres of dance since 7 years old; ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and musical theater. She grew up dancing at Roots Dance Academy, where she was named Assistant of the Year 2018-2019, then Senior Dancer of the Year 2019-2020. She later moved to Madison, MS and furthered her dance career at Xpress Dance Company. Hannah started to assist and teach dance to others at a young age, choreographing and teaching for competitive studios as well as school dance teams. She found a love for helping kids grow into their own selves as a dancer. When graduating high school, she knew she did not want to leave dance behind, so she continued her passion for dance through teaching. Hannah is now attending the university of Mississippi studying Intergrated Marketing Communications and Business. This is her second year on staff at OEDC, and she is so excited to see what the season brings!
